About our Firewood Company
Commitment to Quality
At Rademacher Family Firewood Company, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality firewood products. Guy and Jennifer Rademacher retired respectively from education and banking in order to start a small business where their sons Matthew, Nathaniel and Daniel could balance learning and earning.
Product Offerings
All of our firewood is sourced from sustainable forests and urban settings and is carefully selected and processed to ensure that it meets our high standards. We specialize in quantities of 1/4 cord amounts, approximately 15" in length, which consists of kiln-dried seasoned Maple (hardwood). We also offer green Douglas Fir (softwood) rounds (not split) in 1-2 cord amounts, in lengths from 15"-18" for the following burn season when it becomes available. Our wood is perfect for fireplaces, wood stoves, and outdoor fire pits.
Quality of the Wood
The wood we sell is top notch! The Maple is kiln dried and then transported to our barn. No bugs, no mildew, no rodent droppings.
Storing the Wood
We store our wood in a climate controlled environment to make sure every piece of wood is dry, dry and extra dry!
Delivery
We offer 1/4 cord delivery for your convenience. This is more efficient than hauling those bundles from the store. We are able to navigate our equipment and place the wood where you want it if the access is
wide enough and the ground is firm.
Doing the math for people who buy bundles. Buying a quarter cord of bundles at .65 cubic feet at the store, will roughly be the same price as 1/4 cord of kiln dried Maple delivered! You are getting better wood for greater heat output, bigger pieces for longer burn time, which equates to a better deal.

We will even stack your firewood for you if needed for an additional fee.
The Bundler
Stop buying the bundles at the store! Our firewood bundles are 100% kiln dried Maple (8-10% moisture content). The bundles measure out at .70 cubic feet. Our pieces are generous in size so they burn longer and give off more heat. The BTU (British Thermal Units) for Maple is rated at
17.9 referencing Sweeps BTU chart.

Examine the packaging of the bundles at the store. If they list the tree species on the label they mostly consist of wood that is at the lower end of the BTU chart. The measurements are also questionable as we have purchsed multiple bundles and have checked them. We have also heard from people that the bundles have included damp pieces.
